The township landmark opened its doors on April 17, 1939, with John Losavio at the helm. Nearly seventy years later, business is better than ever. Quite a tribute to the proprietor, a master butcher, who worked alongside his sons, Vincent and Nicholas, until he passed away in 2004. Vincent and Nicholas continue to keep the tradition going. According to Vincent, "We attribute our shop´s success to our father´s commitment to sell only the highest grade of meats available. Prime may cost more per pound but it´s worth it and our customers keep coming back."
